I can't help but think that the expressions match each character's personality perfectly.

Rexis is a dreamer, mainly a daydreamer. Very immature especially since he's technically only one year old.

Rio is the flirtatious trickster that loves to distract others by acting cute.

King Frederic is all about business and is quite bossy.

Devil is just a joy killing grump...
